The GR Sport version of the Toyota C-HR, arriving at the beginning of 2021, can be recognized by its black exterior parts and specific wheels. New steering and suspension adjustments.
INSPIRED BY GR
The Toyota C-HR is a crossover with rather gritty shapes, which contrast with its nature of a quiet hybrid car. To intensely emphasize its dynamism, the Japanese manufacturer announces the GR Sport version, with a look inspired by the exuberant Toyota developed by the Gazoo Racing sports department.
BLACK MAKES YOU STRONG
Offered only with the black roof, the Toyota C-HR GR Sport has many external parts of the same color: the front logo and the grille that houses it, the interior of the headlights, the lower part of the fascia, and the housing of the fog lights, as well as the central part of the specific 19 ”rims and the insert in the rear fascia. The mirrors and rear spoiler are also black.
The Toyota C-HR GR Sport has also been customized inside because it offers leather and Alcantara seats, embellished with red and gray stitching present in the other GRs. In addition, the steering wheel and gear knob in perforated leather are standard, as well as the entrance sills with the Gazoo Racing logo; the same logo is present in the button for starting and stopping the hybrid system. When the engine is started, the dashboard displays the Gazoo emblem.
REVISED SET – UP
In addition to the stylistic innovations, the Toyota C-HR GR Sport has received improvements in its behavior on the road: in addition to the new Continental Premium Contact 6 tires, less efficient than those that adopt the standard C-HR, the house has introduced new adjustments for suspension and steering.
The GR Sport version of the Toyota C-HR will be in dealerships from January 2021 and will have rather rich standard equipment, including LED headlights, electric and heated front seats, tinted windows, satellite navigator and the latest evolution of the Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance system, with automatic braking, lane-keeping and adaptive cruise control. The GR Sport version will be offered in combination with both engines of the C-HR: the 2.0 hybrid with 184 hp and the 1.8 hybrid with 122 hp.
