A new body kit for refined aerodynamics, 20 ” aluminum wheels, sporty springs, and an elegant Alcantara interior: these are the features of the sports kit for the Tesla Model 3.

Tesla Model 3

Model 3 produced by Tesla has become one of the most successful models in the electric car category: an elegant coupe finished in every detail, which however lacks in terms of… sportiness. The German company Startech took care of this problem, with the production of a specific aftermarket kit capable of significantly improving its aerodynamic performance through state-of-the-art components developed with 3D scans and CAD technology.

Let’s go in order: the sports kit in question, first of all, features a completely renewed front bumper, inspired by the ailerons of the Formula 1 single-seaters complete with small spoilers and thermal car air intakes at the ends. Developed in polypropylene for an obvious step forward in reducing drag, this new band ensures compatibility with all Tesla Model 3 electronic sensors, including those for semi-autonomous driving and those for parking.

Moving on to the rear, the sports kit produced by Startech introduces a bumper with an integrated diffuser and a three-piece wing that continues in the terminal part of the sides, for optimal aerodynamic balance in all driving conditions. Laterally, however, are placed with carbon design panels for mirrors, revised wheel and decal specifications with Startech logo: on request, in addition, there is a removal treatment of chrome surfaces, where replacement is proposed black finish for details of the windows and body color for the door handles.

Another interesting feature of this sports kit is the presence of 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, specially designed for the Tesla Model 3: created with a five split-spoke design, they are finished in black and have a central logo that can be ordered. in silver, blue, red, or black color. These rims can accommodate 245/35 ZR 20 high-performance tires at the front and 285/30 ZR 20 at the rear, for increased grip with the asphalt that maximizes the work of the new sports springs installed by Startech to reduce the center of gravity and ground clearance of the car (30mm if equipped with all-wheel drive and 40mm with rear-wheel drive)

The kit of the German company completes the sporty transformation of the Tesla Model 3 with different options for the interior: from the carbon frames for switches and buttons on the dashboard to the sports steering wheel, without forgetting the leather and Alcantara in any color and design for the seats. The price of all these changes? Much depends on the individual choices of the customer: the sporty-looking front bumper, in fact, alone costs around 1,300 Euros!
