The new generation of the Mitsubishi Outlander offers the first official preview of the external look and does so through a teaser image that essentially shows the silhouette of the Japanese SUV in the dim light.
The new Mitsubishi Outlander, whose debut is expected in February 2021, will initially be marketed only in the markets of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. At a later stage, the Japanese manufacturer explains, the car will also land in other countries without specifying which ones for the moment, thus confirming the uncertainty as to whether or not it can also arrive in Europe.
Authentic and majestic design
The new Mitsubishi Outlander will feature a renewed design inspired by the Japanese term “I-Fu-Do-Do” which means “authentic and majestic”. The photo of the SUV immersed in the darkness allows us to notice the Dynamic Shield grille with evident C-shaped chrome, while on the sides stand out the thin LED headlights present on the new Eclipse Cross.
The sections of the rear area of the SUV, visible from the reflection produced by the monoliths placed as a background, have equally tapered LED headlights. Mitsubishi has stated that with the new Outlander the new stylistic course of the brand will debut, concretized by a design made up of bold and decisive lines such as those that characterize the side of the SUV, on which the pronounced rib that develops under the line of belt, extending from the exterior mirrors and incorporating the door handles.
