Mercedes is gradually expanding its electric portfolio: After the EQS, the Mercedes EQE (2022) will be launched one class lower. He also gets an SUV set aside. The price is not yet known.
The Mercedes EQE (2022) appears for the first time as Erlkönig in official photos. The fully electric luxury-class model is on the same scalable electric platform as the EQS, which is due to hit the market as early as 2021. With the luxury model, the EQE shares the progressive design with the passenger cell moved far forward. It differs significantly from the classic layout of the E-Class, which is being launched in the same class. The full exploitation of the advantages of the electric drive promises generous space and sophisticated aerodynamics. SUV customers also get their money’s worth: Both the EQE and EQS have an SUV counterpart. While the EQS SUV is already shown in the photos, there are no photos of the EQE SUV yet.
MERCEDES EQE (2022) ALSO AS AN SUV, BUT STILL WITHOUT A PRICE
We also expect different power levels and battery sizes for the Mercedes EQE (2022). It remains to be seen whether the business sedan will also offer a range of 700 kilometres like the EQS. The integration of the MBUX infotainment, which scores among other things with its natural speech recognition, has already been confirmed. The market launch of the Mercedes EQE could take place in late 2021 or early 2022.
